One for your 2026 diary - the Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival is on the way.…
This October it’s all about Okto-Bear-Fest at Peak Wildlife Park.
The paw-some celebration ywill take place every weekend in October and throughout the half-term break. You can join the team at the park for Okto-Bear-Fest, a special event featuring delicious food, refreshing drinks and plenty of fun for the whole family.
Enjoy tasty German treats like bratwursts and pretzels, and grab a cold draft beer while you explore. The park will also be raising vital funds for Polar Bears International to help protect these incredible animals for the future.
A Unique Wildlife Destination
Sitting in the picturesque Staffordshire Moorlands, Peak Wildlife Park is more than just a place to see animals. It’s a unique destination focused on conservation, education, and sustainability. When the park opened in 2015, its founders had a clear vision. They were determined to create a space where visitors could get up close to rare and endangered species while learning about the challenges they face in the wild.
The park’s layout was designed to replicate the animals’ natural habitats in large, open enclosures. This immersive approach allows you to appreciate these fascinating creatures up close and in a more natural setting, fostering a deeper understanding and respect for the natural world.
A Commitment to Conservation
Peak Wildlife Park works closely with various conservation organisations and participates in global breeding programmess to support the animals that call the park home. The park features a range of animals, from lemurs and penguins to wallabies, and has continued to expand since it opened with new species and exhibits.
One of the key things that sets the park apart is its focus on interactive experiences. With walkthrough exhibits, keeper talks, and animal feeding sessions, you have the chance to engage directly with the animals. These hands-on encounters not only create unforgettable memories but also highlight the importance of conservation and the role each of us can play in protecting our planet’s wildlife.
Peak Wildlife Park has quickly become one of the UK’s most beloved wildlife destinations. Its dedication to providing immersive, educational experiences has been crucial in raising awareness about endangered species and the importance of wildlife conservation, making it a true asset to the local community and beyond.
