Games Room

Our games room, also known as The Long Room, has been thoughtfully designed as a welcoming space for guests of all ages to relax and spend time together. It now features a brand-new 75-inch TV which is perfect for watching movies or sports as a group, alongside comfortable seating and plenty of room to unwind.

We’ve given it the signature Wheeldon Trees feel, with oak flooring, cosy velvet chairs and a fantastic selection of games. From Scrabble, Monopoly, Chess, Checkers, Connect Four and Jenga to a simple pack of cards, there’s something for everyone.

Whether you’re in the mood for a game of pool or prefer board games, books, maps, and classic DVDs, the Long Room offers entertainment for the whole family.

Open 24 hours a day, the space also includes a large communal dining table, a private kitchen, and bathroom facilities. Many groups choose to dine together in the Long Room, making it a wonderful place to gather, celebrate, and enjoy quality time with family and friends.

We’ve also been known to host the odd birthday party!

The room is also perfect for private meetings if you are looking to bring work colleagues together instead of the usual chain hotel. Our friends at Sauced Here can also cater for your family dinner or meeting. In the last few months, Sauced Here have brought in Indian, Italian and British chefs to cater for our guests.
