Mycock Cottage is a luxury Derbyshire retreat sleeping three guests and proudly rated 5-star on TripAdvisor. The property features a stylish country kitchen with built-in appliances, quartz worktops and a waste disposal system for added convenience. Downstairs you’ll find a spacious open-plan living area with underfloor heating, along with a private enclosed south-facing patio – perfect for relaxing with friends and family. The dining table seats three, and there’s a Smart TV and Alexa to enjoy when you’re not out exploring the local hills.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms — one double and one single — along with a chic vintage-style bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. All our cottages are stocked with our luxury range of toiletries, specially made for Wheeldon Trees by Peak Soap in Bakewell. The cottage is nestled under High Wheeldon and is located in one of the Peak District’s most stunning valleys.
Each of our cottages is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need during your stay, from everyday essentials like washing-up liquid to olive oil for cooking your favourite meals.
As a guest of Wheeldon Trees, you’re free to roam our 12 acres of Peak District National Park. If you love walking you can bag a trig by climbing High Wheeldon from your cottage door. Within Wheeldon Trees, guests can make use of Voltshare EV charging for electric cars, an honesty shop filled with luxury Great Taste Award treats, a newly updated games room with a pool table and 75-inch TV and a range of electric bikes available to borrow for exploring the local area.
If you’re working during your stay, you’re also very welcome to use our peaceful office under the trees — a quiet space with beautiful views, superfast WiFi, and a printer to make working away from home that little bit easier.
