Gulliver's Kingdom October Half Term

Looking for things to do this October in the Peak District? Why not embrace the spooky season in the heart of the Peak District with a trip to Gulliver’s Kingdom.

This unique theme park, set on a hillside with incredible views of the Derwent Valley, is hosting its annual Fright Fiesta—a vibrant, festival-style event perfect for families looking for some friendly frights and eerie encounters.

Friendly Frights for All Ages

Step into a lively world of colour, costumes and music. This Halloween event is designed for families to celebrate the season with a mix of fun and spooky surprises. You can show off your best fancy dress, or simply explore the theme park and its spooktacular rides.

Some of the highlights of the Fright Fiesta include:

  • Explore the Creepy Cave: Dare to venture into a mysterious and thrilling cavern.
  • Enter the Haunted House: Navigate a spooky manor filled with friendly frights.
  • Join Gilly’s Halloween Show: Enjoy a festive show packed with singing and dancing.
  • Hop aboard the Silver Mine Ride: Take a ride on one of the park’s classic attractions.

For those seeking a bit more of a thrill, Gulliver’s also has two more intense attractions:

Ghost House LIVE

Step into the eerie Grimwood Manor and join paranormal investigators as you navigate twisted corridors and face chilling, live-action scares.

Silver Mine: Zombie Shootout

Test your skills in a terrifying adventure through the Silver Mine where you’ll face unruly zombie cowboys. This attraction is suitable for ages 8 and up.

Thrills with a View at Gulliver’s Kingdom

Beyond the Halloween fun, Gulliver’s Kingdom offers a full day of adrenaline-fuelled adventures with a twist—spectacular views! Because of its impressive hillside setting, many of the rides provide a unique perspective of the Peak District National Park.

Climb high on the Crows Nest Quest or take a ride on the log flume, which is perched 300 feet above the Derwent Valley. With over 65 rides and attractions, there’s something for children aged 2 to 13, making it a perfect day out for the whole family.

To save money, it’s always a good idea to book your tickets in advance. You can also get a 12-month annual passport for access to all five Gulliver’s theme parks.

The Fright Fiesta runs from October 11th to November 1st, 2025.
