Art at the Crescent

Wheeldon Trees Cottages guests can enjoy a spectacular art exhibition coming to Buxton this July when The Peak District Artisans showcase their work at the Buxton Crescent Hotel.

The Peak District Artisans, a renowned association of local artists, will be showcasing their work at the Crescent Assembly Room from Friday, July 5th to Sunday, July 7th, 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to see a diverse collection of contemporary art created by some of the most talented artists in the Derbyshire Peak District.

About the Peak District Artisans

Established in 1991, the Peak District Artisans is a collective of highly skilled artists, designers, and craftspeople. Their members are renowned for their creativity and expertise, including up-and-coming talents and established, internationally recognised artists. Many are award-winning and celebrated for their excellence in various mediums.

The Exhibition

This exciting exhibition will feature a variety of contemporary artworks, including ceramics, jewellery, textiles, mixed-media pieces, glassware, and paintings. The stunning Assembly Rooms at the Crescent will provide a magnificent backdrop for these exceptional creations.
