Chatsworth Firework Display

This is a grand and spectacular event perfect for families. Enjoy two firework displays—an early one for little ones and a magnificent finale—along with a blazing bonfire. You can also indulge in seasonal food and a warming glass of mulled wine. For a truly special evening, book a delicious meal at the Cavendish Restaurant before the main event.

• When: Friday, October 31st & Saturday, November 1st, 2025
• Where: Chatsworth House
• Gates Open: 6:00 PM
• Tickets: Adults £23, Children £16 (Additional cost for the dinner package)
• Highlights: Two firework displays, a bonfire, live entertainment, and a variety of food and drink.

Family-Friendly Bonfire Night at Quackers Cafe

Looking for a more relaxed, dog-friendly option? Head to Quackers Cafe for a cosy bonfire night. This event is perfect for those who want to avoid loud fireworks, making it a great choice for families with young children or furry friends. Get warm by the firepit, toast marshmallows, sip on hot chocolate and enjoy a hearty jacket potato feast.

• When: Wednesday, November 5th & Saturday, November 8th, 2025
• Where: Quackers Cafe, Thornbridge
• Tickets: Adults £10, Children £5 (includes a jacket potato)
• Highlights: A roaring firepit, marshmallows for toasting, hot drinks, and a jacket potato meal. No fireworks, so it’s pet-friendly.

Matlock RFC’s Bonfire & Fireworks

One of the largest Bonfire Night events in the Peak District, this celebration at Cromford Meadows promises a fantastic evening of entertainment. Expect a huge bonfire, a dazzling firework and light show, live music, fairground rides, and plenty of food and drink. A special children’s fireworks display and free parking make it a hassle-free night out for families.

• When: Saturday, November 8th, 2025
• Where: Matlock Rugby Club, Cromford Meadows
• Tickets: Not yet available.
• Highlights: One of the biggest events in the region, with a special children’s display and lots of entertainment.

While the dates for these events haven’t been confirmed for 2025, they are popular annual gatherings worth keeping an eye on.

• Buxton Firework Spectacular: Held at Buxton Cricket Ground, this event features a huge firework display, hot food vendors, live music, and fairground rides.
• Eyam Bonfire and Fireworks: Experience a unique torch-lit procession through the village that culminates in a massive bonfire and firework display. This event can get very busy, so plan accordingly.
• The Whitworth Fantazia Fireworks: This Halloween-themed bonfire night features a low-noise display for children and a spectacular Halloween-themed finale.
• Eyre Arms Calver Bonfire & Fireworks: A local favorite, this community event at the Eyre Arms includes a bonfire, fireworks, and a great selection of food and drinks, with all proceeds supporting a local school.
