Our fabulous Derbyshire Farmhouse underwent a meticulous six-figure renovation in 2022. It was transformed it into the five-star sanctuary it is today, highly rated by guests on TripAdvisor and Google Reviews.

Downstairs, original flagstone floors lead from the hallway into a beautiful sitting room. The sitting room features indulgent décor and a crackling wood-burning fire. The luxury family kitchen boasts a range cooker and a hand-made traditional ash farmhouse table with ample seating for eight. Local granite work surfaces, top-of-the-range appliances and a waste disposal make it a dream to cook in. Plus, downstairs offers a convenient powder room and a cosy snug for movie marathons.

Upstairs, you’ll find three spacious double bedrooms. The king-size master suite features a beautiful ensuite walk-in shower room, and there are two additional super-king rooms, both of which offer the flexibility of being set up as twins. There is plenty of room for cots in any of the bedrooms, though please note that we cannot fit stair-gates in this particular cottage.

Outside, the Farmhouse has its own private garden, offering a lovely secluded space. But as with every Wheeldon Trees Cottage, the entire retreat offers visitors so much more than just somewhere to stay. We enhance your luxury break with locally made toiletries sourced right here in the Peak District.
