Twixmas 2022 in the Peaks. New Year is fast approaching. So, what’s on offer in the Peak District National Park after Christmas and running up to New Year’s Eve?
New Year’s Eve Gala Concert – Buxton Opera House
Join the Buxton Opera House for an evening of sparkling fun to help celebrate the arrival of the New Year. The British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra is set to play music to suit everyone from Opera to Operetta and Gilbert and Sullivan, to film soundtracks and musicals. The evening will culminate with Auld Lang Syne at midnight, closing with a rousing finale.

Family Fun at Ilam Park
The National Trust’s Christmas Trails may be right up your street if you have little ones. There’s a Snowflake Spotting trail at Ilam Park running every day in December and January. More than 100 snowflakes have been hidden around the park for you to find. Alongside the trail, there is also the tearoom and bookshop to keep you entertained.

This year’s panto at the Buxton Opera House runs from Saturday 10 Dec 2022 to Sunday Sun 1 January 2023.
