Say hello to our fabulous Farmhouse!

The Farmhouse at Wheeldon Trees in Earl Sterndale is now open for bookings following a complete renovation.

Our Peak District luxury holiday retreat offers 10 beautiful cottages for guests to stay in while discovering the wonders of Derbyshire and beyond.

Historic Farmhouse

The detached historic farmhouse is set across two beautiful floors. Downstairs there’s a stunning sitting room with wood-burning stove. The wallpaper is custom-printed and we’ve used local suppliers for soft furnishings and decorating.

The farmhouse kitchen is brand new and features a custom-designed wooden dining table for eight people. Granite work surfaces, a waste disposal, Denby pottery and pantry full of gadgets ensure you have everything you need for a luxury break.

The snug has a corner sofa bed for four people, furry bean bags and a huge TV for movie marathons.

A downstairs vintage powder room and quiet reading room completes downstairs.

Upstairs there are three sumptuous double bedrooms. The main bedroom features a king-size bed, easy chairs and a luxury ensuite with walk in rain shower.

Bedroom two has two single beds, which can also be made into one super king.

Bedroom three also has two single beds, which once again can be made into one super king. All bedrooms have plenty of room for cots.

The family bathroom upstairs has a walk in rain shower and custom-painted Farrow and Ball pink roll top bath.

Our 10 luxury cottages are set in one of Derbyshire’s most breathtaking valleys. Close to Buxton and Bakewell in the Peak District National Park, the retreat has an honesty shop packed with treats, super-fast WIFI, free electric vehicle charging, a children’s play area, a laundry, free electric bike hire, and 12 acres of Peak District National Park to enjoy.”
